Learning at home for preschoolers

Many families are experiencing interruptions or halts in the childcare options at present. Many families are working from home whilst caring for young children. Many early childhood settings are now required to reach out to their children from virtual platforms, providing their services remotely.

With a sudden tilt to these kinds of situations, the types of experiences can shift for the children too. It is so important that the children are still experiencing plenty of movement, plenty of play, plenty of language and plenty of connection each day.

Myself and my colleague, Sinéad Mc Cauley Lambe, have compiled a bank of playful resources to support learning at home to suit early childhood practitioners and parents of preschoolers.
